Proenza Schouler F/W2010

Proenza Schouler was absolutely amazing. This is exactly what I want to look like all of the time (the use of thigh high stockings! I have been looking forward to getting reacquainted the second my legs are in better shape to no longer offend). I love the front view of the shoe but the side profile will have to grow on me. I know as soon as I see them in person I will be sold. No hating just lusting....

Snow Day

We went up to Wrightwood last Friday for a weekend of snowboarding and to celebrate Kitty's Birthday (belatedly). On Jon's last ride of the day on Friday he got the phone call that Laura was going into labor so we headed home early the next morning to support and welcome lil Avery! So exciting!

The car ride after exiting the freeway and hitting the highway is so beautiful. Do you notice the train in the foreground? Driving up growing up my mom would always point it out to us so my brothers and I would get excited and be occupied for a portion of the trip.

I first looked at the collection and really only fell in love with one outfit (of course I wanted to have a version of it physically on my body at that exact moment). Sad not what I expected. Then I looked at the detailed shots on style.com and kind of fell in love with the "details" so beautiful. Number one piece of inspiration? The thigh high leg warmers. I will be digging out the ones I purchased from the dance store a couple of years ago....

I saw these on Net-A-Porter.com in the fall and fell in love with them! For some reason the Marc by Marc store never got them so I have them in black and white and grey and white canvas. But nude patent is simply amazing and will be a welcome addition!
