New York in a nutshell

Basically a cliff notes version of the two weeks spent in New York.

Jon bombing the Williamsburg bridge - living on Pies N' Thighs - a Sondre Lerche show in a tiny bar - Sending Jon photos of good gift ideas for me ;) - Nails NYC style (everyone in the salon thought this design was "crazy"? When i got home Cindy asked "what's this? Boring!") - Getting a last minute job on my own for a photo shoot on the roof of the Maritime hotel - visiting Coney Island which was made up of riding the cyclone (scary!) and attending the Freak Show - eating at Katz Deli where I kept thinking this looks an awful lot like the deli scene in 'When Harry Met Sally' and then Jon pointing out that I was actually sitting at the table that the scene took place in and I seriously had no idea! - visiting the Guggenheim - trying to eat as much Mister Softee as possible - Shopping at Patricia Field - Meeting up with old friends - making new friends - going to a Paul Mooney comedy show (Rachel and I were almost falling asleep by the end thanks to one too many drinks) - eating every meal llike it was my first... and last piggy style - watching Jon Skate - ending the trip with a party on Dobbin Lane on the 4th and fireworks on our roof. I had an amazing time and cannot wait to visit NYC again. Too much fun!

7 years

7 years ago on the 26th of June was the magical day that I met the most amazing man on the planet. After a super long work week for us both... Saturday morning Jon woke me up told me to pack a bag and we headed into the city for a fantastical day of fun. Jon had really planned a full day... breakfast at Cafe Gitane, a boat ride and then carriage ride at/around Central Park, shopping the city (an amazing pair of shoes at Barney's), a nail appt, a suite at the Soho Grand Hotel, the greatest most romantic dinner at Del Posto, ending with a nice walk through High Line Park. Such a fantastic surprise, really couldn't have been planned better or spent with better company. I am so lucky to have this man in my life.
