Proenza Schouler F/W2010

Proenza Schouler was absolutely amazing. This is exactly what I want to look like all of the time (the use of thigh high stockings! I have been looking forward to getting reacquainted the second my legs are in better shape to no longer offend). I love the front view of the shoe but the side profile will have to grow on me. I know as soon as I see them in person I will be sold. No hating just lusting....

Snow Day

We went up to Wrightwood last Friday for a weekend of snowboarding and to celebrate Kitty's Birthday (belatedly). On Jon's last ride of the day on Friday he got the phone call that Laura was going into labor so we headed home early the next morning to support and welcome lil Avery! So exciting!

The car ride after exiting the freeway and hitting the highway is so beautiful. Do you notice the train in the foreground? Driving up growing up my mom would always point it out to us so my brothers and I would get excited and be occupied for a portion of the trip.

BOY F/W2010

Before opening up the photos of the BOY by Band of Outsiders show I held my breath and told Jon to get ready, listen to my wish list and prepare the bank account. I opened it up, had a look and instead of a wish list of things I would like for my Birthday, Christmas, even anniversary of (insert something funny here)... I got my gift instantaneously... A gift of total inspiration. So when you see me looking exactly this come fall/winter (with different hemlines) you will know who it is all care of....

Things I Love...

I Love my family's cat Lucy (we got her just before my "sweet" 16)

I LOVE that Lucy loves to eat cantaloupe.

I love daffodils. They have to be my favorite part of this time of year!

I love these amazing plants in my parents yard (not the greatest photo I was in 4 inch heels). Jon and I had been trying to figure out where to find them and my parents said we can have some of theirs (I don't think my Dad likes them very much)

I love succulents like these and want more for our home.

Burger Date

I have been seriously craving a Burger lately. I mean dying for one! A 25 degrees opened up in Huntington Beach (the original is in the Roosevelt hotel). It's a rad spot with a great drink menu (amazing wines, mixed drinks, PBR, Stella on tap, even a Guinness Milk Shake), the greatest sweet potato fries, super good apps. The Burgers are BYO (Build Your Own). With the most amazing toppings to chose from, I mean an actual cheese list (like a wine list) be still my heart....

So that was where we went for dinner last night (to scratch my burger itch). The atmosphere so not as cool as the Roosevelt but way less scene-y and more laid back. The service was also so so compared to the Roosevelt but not bad I mean everyone there was super nice. After dinner with super full tummies we wanted to take a walk on the Pier but didn't get too far as we were not properly dressed to brave the elements. Another super fun night with the best date ever!
