Jon and I had to run errands down in the OC at South Coast. Afterwards we met up with Kristin and Matt at LaCave. When we arrived we asked the hostess which bar we could sit at (there were two) she said the one in the back would open up in an hour and half when the club opened up and that "this place will look A LOT different in the next hour or so" we looked around at all of the 50 and older patrons of this fine establishment the thoughts were whatever do you mean? This place looks pretty great already! How much better can it get? We took a seat in the corner Matt and Kristin show up a few drinks later we all look up and one of us comments how many "hipsters" are suddenly here but all I see are guys in silky shirts and now a 40+ crowd (so not as cool as the 50+ crowd). At this point the bar is "too hip" for us (not to mention creepily crowded) so we decide to leave. Fun time. Next time we just need to remember to get there early bird style...
