So we went from snow on the ground to the "Sea". We drove about an hour and a half east to visit the Salton Sea. The Salton Sea used to be a hot vacation spot back in the day. Families would bring their boats and Air Stream Trailers from miles and miles away to vacation here. Then the water changed fresh water boats could no longer handle the water and now it is not as popular but is still a camping ground and fishing spot. The birds, fish, and other animals either died out or adapted to the change in the water.
It was a pretty amazing sight to see. We were both way psyched and then realized we have driven this far we might as well drive a little further to visit Niland, California to see one man's giant love letter to God....
